A district of the Louisiana Area Assembly of Alcoholics Anonymous, serving St. Helena Parish, Livingston Parish north of I-12, and East Baton Rouge Parish east of US-61.
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.
District 11 is the link between local AA groups and Area 27, the Louisiana Area Assembly. Our District Committee Member (DCM) carries the group conscience of the AA groups in the district to the area committee. We hold regular meetings of all General Service Representatives (GSRs) in the district, share information about Conference activities, and support our groups in carrying the AA message.
Our district covers St. Helena Parish, Livingston Parish north of I-12, and East Baton Rouge Parish east of US-61. Learn about the groups, mission, and service structure.
